I worked with Kathie for many years, so I know her work well. But I’ll keep this short. She is smart, thorough, good with volunteers, good with doctors and good with other staff. She handled some huge projects along with her regular responsibilities of fashioning education programs at the largest scientific meeting for orthopaedic surgeons in the world. She gets things done.
Mark Wieting, Chief Education Officer (retired), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
Kathie is a very dedicated individual who has worked in the industry for years. She is very easy to work with and plans meetings at a very high level. Working with Orthopaedic surgeons on a daily basis and handling their needs. I would recommend Kathie Niesen for any job in our field.
Charles Sneathern, Senior Account Manager, PSAV
As Director of Professional Development at the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), it is my privilege of writing a recommendation for Kathie Niesen. I worked with Kathie when she was the Manager of Education Programs at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). Kathie was a true asset to AAOS. She was a reliable, energetic, and creative contributor to the work of the organization. Her initiative and exceptional level of performance enabled us to reach more orthopaedic surgeons throughout the world with our education. Kathie played a critical role in charting the course for new, more dynamic education initiatives that were under her scope of responsibility. I highly recommend Kathie.
